Production
The powdery material is applied in layers and solidified with a laser.
This technique is ideal for prototypes and for small series production quantities.
Attention must be paid to the 3D design to ensure that it is optimised correctly for problem-free printing with a 3D printer.

Consultation
We are happy to help answer technical questions, regarding component alignment, tolerance measurements, or materials, and of course we are very careful to ensure that your 3D model is printed to the best possible quality. We will send you an offer as soon as possible!

Processing the 3D data
We check each 3D design file prior to printing. This ensure that minor repairs such as open shells (outer shells) are amended immediately.
To make the best possible use of the volume of the printer, various 3D model designs from several customers are combined into a single construction space, which helps to reduce the cost for your 3D printed models.
Printing in the 3D Printer
With “Selective Laser Sintering” the powder material is applied in 0.21 mm layers and solidified by laser exposure. The construction space lowers to allow the next layer of powder material to be applied. This continues until a construction height of 320 mm is reached.Cleaning
The printed 3D models are cleaned individually of any residual material using a glass bead blaster and blown clean using high air pressure.Post-processing
As a post-processing options we can offer colouring, barrel finishing and impregnating.Colouring
All models are printed in white material, but can later be coloured to any desired colour.
This happens with the help of an immersion process, whereby the colour penetrates deep into the material up to 0.3 mm.
Unlike painting, no material is added and all component properties remain the same.
The colours black, grey, red and blue are included in the calculator, other colours are available on request.
Vibratory Finishing
The 3D printed models are ground in a trough vibrator using ceramic balls.
This helps to create a much smoother surface.
Small holes and structures which cannot be reached with the abrasives, however, remain untreated.
Coloured models cannot receive this finish.
Infiltrating
The surfaces of the model are sealed in an oil immersion bath.
This results in even thin-walled components becoming air and waterproof.
Seal oil has been tested by the Ruhr Institute of Hygiene for safe use in contact with food and drinking water.
Further post-processing options
For post processing options we can offer you dyeing and metallizing. If you have any questions about these techniques, please do not hesitate to contact us.
