It is reccommended that you 1st solder the smaller components onto the pcb, turn it over then solder the larger components on the top side.
However if you have large components on both sides then there is a chance that the components on the bottom will fall off during reflow stage. Smaller components do not fall off as the solder keeps them in place.
The other thing to watch out for is that the components on the bottom do not touch off the grill in the oven - as this will cause them to move during reflow.
