Currently

To be able to order the assembly of your PCB, you need a BOM (parts list). The compilation of this BOM can be very laborious.

Ideally, you e.g. order 30 components from only one supplier, but experience has shown that you have to search various distributor websites, check and compare prices and availibility.

You then of course have to order and manage these 30 components plus PCB and stencil individually.

The future with Beta LAYOUT

We provide you with the interactive parts list through MAGIC-BOM®, in which components and prices are clearly displayed and alternatives are even suggested. With just a few clicks you can create your BOM, which you can also save as an Excel file if you wish.

The components, PCB and stencil are given a reference number, which you can view in the overview within your online customer account. The price corresponds to the sum of the individual 30 components items within the kit.

Since the price is fixed over a certain time period, you do not need to worry about price fluxuations. Currently you have to manage the procurement of 30 different component items from various suppliers with Beta LAYOUT it will be just 1.

Currently

Within your purchasing system there is now an open order pending for 30 items, waiting to be received from various different suppliers. Bit by bit, day by day, the components, the PCB and the stencil get delivered and are booked in. Your incoming goods department either delivers a part to production, or it manages the items until all parts are completely received and then transferred to production.

In a situation when components are supplied in bulk packaging and when only a specific number of components are required, any excess parts must be stored again which means additional work and an increase in inventory.

You will receive one package that contains the complete kit with all the components, including the PCB and stencil, in the required quantity. You now only need to book one item.

The management and allocation of many individual parts that have to be temporarily stored and then handed over to the relevant department now becomes unnecessary.

The incoming goods department has to manage the various parts received for an order and assign them according to the needs of the production per project.

The future with Beta LAYOUT

The incoming goods department transfers just one package with the complete kit directly to production. The PCBs can be assembled immediately without having to worry about missing or incorrectly assigned parts.

Your accounting department receives several invoices for a project. Often this happens at different times, which makes the process confusing and very time consuming.

The items and their prices must be checked individually and the individual items must be assigned to the respective project.
There are a number of different booking processes and administrative processes.
